Private Workshops
Key Word Sign Victoria can provide an Accredited Key Word Sign Presenter to come to you or your workplace to run a workshop for your support network or staff.
This allows you to choose the date, time and venue that suits you, and the workshop can to be tailored to your needs if required.
Some ideas:
Family training sessionInvite people important to the person you support. For example, mum, dad, siblings, grandma, grandpa, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, support workers, integration teacher, teacher, swimming instructor, neighbour, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech pathologist.
Whole team trainingInvite all the staff, for example, teachers, integration aides or support workers, CEO, admin staff, cleaners, school bus drivers, regular taxi drivers, occupational therapist, psychologist, physiotherapist, speech pathologist, NDIS planner.
Basic & Intermediate Workshops are both available as Private Workshops
Basic workshops - are for teams who have never used Key Word Signs, or who have previously attended a Basic workshop and would like to refresh their training.
Intermediate workshops - are for teams who have already completed a Basic workshop, are using signs in their daily interactions and are looking to expand their skills and vocabulary.

Basic and Intermediate Private Workshops each require 7 hours of contact time and can be run:- Online - (via Zoom) - best conducted over 2 x half days/evenings,- In Person - over a full day or 2 x half days/evenings in the venue you arrange

Funding
