What are Sign Updates & Who can attend?

Sign Updates are online or face-to-face meetings which provide opportunity for Key Word Sign Presenters to sign-match, practice and maintain their signing skills and knowledge, learn new signs and network with other presenters.
Sign Updates are only available to Accredited Key Word Sign Presenters who are current financial members of Key Word Sign Australia.
Sign Updates in 2024
The next Sign Update in 2024 is planned for Wednesday 12th June (7.00pm- 8.30pm). This meeting will be held online and will include: i) Brainstorming and sharing the various teaching & memory strategies you use in basic workshops when teaching signs from Interactive Vocabulary 1 & 2 ii) Singing and signing some songs (la-la-la-la-la-la) If singing is not your thing, ...don't worry! No one will force you to sing! You can just sign and smile !! iii) A summary of the vocabulary changes that are present in the Revised Auslan Edition of the "Getting Started with Key Word Sign" book. AGM & Sign Update - Save the Date!!! Our Key Word Sign Australia - Victoria, Annual General Meeting (AGM) is planned for Sunday 10th November, 2024. It will be an "in person" meeting. Details to be announced.

Details of Sign Updates run by the Key Word SIgn Australia - Victorian committee are emailed to all Accredited Key Word Sign Presenters who are current financial members of Key Word SIgn Australia and who are based in Victoria.
