What is Key Word Sign?
Key Word Sign is the use of manual signs and natural gesture to support communication. Key Word Sign is used to encourage and support language development in children and adults with communication difficulties.
How to start using Key Word Sign?
Learning different signs and how to use them for communication is the best way to learn Key Word Sign.Key Word Sign Victoria runs “Getting started” sign workshops in Melbourne, Geelong and some regional centres. These workshops give you an excellent interactive signing experience. Workshops are usually held as 1 day workshops or 2 x half day workshops.
Workshops available in 2024 will be advertised soon. Watch this space!! In 2024 there will be - full day face-to-face workshops - 2 x half day online (via Zoom) workshops.
